Jesus, the Lord of glory, prayed often to His Father in Heaven. We do not have all of His prayers or actions recorded in the New Testament (John 21:25). We do know that He prayed all night the night He was to choose the apostles and the next day, from all of His disciples He chose twelve (Luke 6:12). Many people that call themselves Christians, neglect the most powerful single force in the world — the power of prayer. In doing so, they make a double mistake. First, they deprive themselves of the spiritual enrichment that comes by praying, and secondly, they provide a poor example to their children.
