It comforts Christians to know that Jesus is ready to make intercession for us when we sin. First John 1:9 reads, ‘If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.’ For the Christian, Jesus is the ‘Voice’ for the good of mankind. God is timeless and changeless. Just as God is unchanging, so His Son Jesus is unchanging. The Bible declares, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus’ teachings are matchless, and they are also timeless. He said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). Jesus’ words will judge us “in the last day” (John 12:48). There are modern day teachers who attempt to make a mere man out of Jesus. Continue reading
